MAHDIA
Mahdia - The small coastal town of Mahdia is located south of Monastir, on a narrow peninsula, which is separated from the rest of the mainland at its narrowest point by the only city gate, Skifa el Kahla. Mahdia has managed to preserve the charm of a local, peaceful Tunisian place. It is an excellent starting point for exploring the central and southern parts of Tunisia.
